Why AnaGoesBanana?
AnaGoesBanana came to mind for my website as a way of bringing a little touch of humor to help pave the way for growth and change during the therapeutic process. Suffering touches all of us. I have suffered in my life, and there are many times when I thought I would not see my way through it. But what kept me going during the darkest times was my sense of humor. Humor is trait of appreciating (and being able to express) a sense of clever or amusing mood, even in the most painful time.

As an experienced Psychotherapist, with specialization in Behavioral Health; my goal is to create a supportive environment in which my clients can explore their emotional needs and overcome barriers that limit their full potential. I take an evidence-based, open-minded and post-modern approaches to client wellness and consider the client's work life, family traditions, cultural and spiritual beliefs, and sexual identity.

I invite you to know a little bit about your therapist. I offer bilingual (Spanish-English) psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, and families. Immigration bio-psychosocial and mental health evaluations.
